Using Arts-Based Storytelling Methods to Build Efficacy and Advance Transgender and Gender Diverse Justice" is a workshop series funded by the U-M Arts Initiative and co-implemented by social work Professor Christensen. TGD individuals engaged in storytelling using poetry, dream speech, and photovoice to advocate for justice and counter discriminatory legislation. Participants contributed to a virtual repository of powerful artistic artifacts, promoting political advocacy and community solidarity.
